84 Starcraft Islander 22 Cabin Cushions

About two years ago I picked up a 84 Starcraft Islander 22 and shorelander trailer at an auction for $500.00
The boat had been left outside uncoverd for several years and the canvas top was unrepairable and the floors were rotten.
I removed the top and had the engine tuned up. No problems with the engine other then neglected parts like plugs, belts and filters. I replaced the decking with marine plywood. Carpet to follow as soon as I get back in the states. I do not have cusions for the cabin of the boat. Does anyone have the correct dimentions for the cabin cushions?

My wife and I are currently working on a set of cushions for a early seventies Islander. From what I have observed, there are a lot of variations in the interiors of Islanders and Cheiftains due to the length of the boats and what options they have. My son has a 22' 74 Chieftain Express that needs cushions and as soon as the v-berth cushion is completed for the Islander I will see how that cushion fits in the Chieftain. I think that the curvature of the bow is the same on both boats.
Pictures are needed to know how your boat is configured for seating/sleeping etc.

Welcome!!! Yah, shoot up some photos of your rig, that would be a big help.

I could prolly help ya out with some measurements if our bow setup is the same.

Hay, thanks for the quick responce. I am due back in the US middle August. I am trying to line up my projects for when i get home. Unfortunatley I did not drag the photos of my boat along in my external hard drive. Its a standard cabin, Flat sides with the stoage compartment in the center front and the extention board in the rear center infront of the door/hatch. I will post pics as soon as I have them available. Maybe I can fine some generic pictures on line.

Scott, you can pop over to my Islander thread to see what I am up to. I am actually working on finishing up my cabin, including the cushions, might help ya out a little.
