Ok,
Will have to look into a timming light.And rain all weekend here,so a no go to try that this weekend

By the way,

The plug wires look good,and the inside of the plug wire's(boot sides))seems to be clean on the sides,but when I look to the bottom of the boots,there is no metal to be seen.

That should still be ok shouldn't it?
As long as its contacting the sides of the metal inside of the boot cap.

Some plug contacts do not have any metal at the top. It is like an open circle. As long as you have contact with the plug, you are ok.
