85 horse force no spark please help

I have an 85 horse force and it wont get spark.
I fired it up on land one day(with water through it)and it ran fine I shut it off and went to the water and it wouldn't do any thing but crank.
I opened the case and found most of the wires had melted to the block so I taped and/or replaced them all and still nothing,every one tells me it might be the kill switch but I cant find it PLEASE HELP!

The kill switch is either on the dash or in the controll box. A lanyard is normally attached to a "key" that fits in the kill switch. When the key is removed it shuts down the engine.

Remove the white wires from the barrier strip on the engine and see if you get spark. If you do and the engine starts, grounding the white wires will kill the engine.

ok I have removed the 2 white wires from the horizontal strip(they said magneto) and it didn't do any thing but I noticed the vertical strip next to the power packs has 2 white and green could those be it,
