85 liberator 211,Trim tabs

Ok this is my first liberator and I love it. It's an oldy but a goody. 350 I/O mercruiser. Should I buy smart trim tabs or the regular adjustable tabs? As all of you who have these older liberators know they are *** heavy and take forever to plane out with 4-5 people on them.Any advice would be helpful thanks.

Did you get any additional information about this topic? I just bought an 87' 211 and wonder about the same thing. Seems to take forever to plane out.

If you've got the money it's a no brainer..get adjustable tabs..if your on a limited budget and your willing to sacrifice control then get the smart tabs.
