85hp force thermostal

hello i have a 1989 85hp force. i replaced the water pump and i need to replace the thermostal. can any one please tell me were it is at on the motor. i also would like to replace my water pump houseing can some one tell me were i could get one on the web. you guys have be very help full. i am new to the boating life. i bought a used 18ft maxum with a 85hp force and i had lots of prob from day one. you guys walked me right in the boating life. thanks 4 every thing dave

The thermostat is located at the top of the head. It has four screws and looks like a square box.

As to the water pump housing, there is a couple of dealers that sell complete water pump kits for the 85-125 engines on ebay. I bought my last one for around $58 or so. They had the best price around when I checked.
