OMC issued service bulletins regarding this years ago. The 100:1 tanks suplied with that engine were recalled/discontinued and were not to be used for mixing at that ratio. They recommended the ratio be premixed at 50:1. You should run 50:1 in the engine. While the engines performed fine at that ratio, they found that if left for some time (over the winter) that the residual oil on the internals was so thin, that the critial parts (cranks, bolts, etc) would rust over time, causing significant damage.
