86 15HP evinrude

I know all of us have heard you can increase power by doing this or that so I figured I could get the straight info here so:<br />.<br />I've been told that by installing a carburetor from a 25 HP evinrude I can in effect have the same power from my 15 HP model. It sounds to simple.<br />.<br />My question is can this boost the power and what else do you have to do?

I have doubts that the 25 carb will even fit into the 15 carb space.<br /><br />DHP

Sources of "I've been told that. . . ." are usually wrong. <br /><br />Unless, that is, you were told here.
