I have a 86 Evinrude 30 hp (CE30ELCDM) that I need a new carburetor for. I took it off on the weekend to rebuild it and couldn't believe the shape it is in. The thing is unbelievably corroded inside the bore. I rebuilt it anyway and it seems to work fine but I'd rather replace it and don't want to spend $300 on a new one from the dealer. Now the question. Can anyone tell me, or point me to a site that will tell me what different carburetors will work on this engine? Thanks in advance.
