86 force 50 hp tilt and trim and no spark

Bringing motor back to life after tilt broke..everything used to work.sat for couple of years..fixed tilt new battery turns over fine but tilt does not work nor do I get spark in ethier coils...where should I start..thinking realy in front could be problem ...anyway to test the realy I have voltage meter...just need to know where to start..thanks

Just to give update..got tilt and trim working
..was a fuse . I took black and yellow wire off ingintion and still no fire.check coils..I think I did right pos end in the boot and negative on ground got 989 ohms...both coils.took ground off reticiver and still no spark.what else is do I need to do...please help!!!

MOD EDIT: Let's handle that via PM, please.

2.Get a Lisle 50850 spark checker, to check spark jump 7/16 inch, then check coils with multimeter You tube explains all these tests,then the cdi units power the coils,then the trigger,then stator, then the rectifier/regulator, theses five ignition parts that can cause no fire.
3. Make sure all the grounds are tight, and no wires are grounded out first.

86/50 has points and condensers.
​Pull the flywheel.
File the points.
