86 johnson 120hp runs good, then not...help

It has happened a couple of times on the lake, motor starts well and as long as its ran for around 15 min all is good. If not it won't start again for a while....anyone think of what could be wrong?

A couple of quick toughts.
Ign problem, check spark when it happens.
Fuel problems, carbs flooding untill you run it long enough to completely clean them up.
Electrical problems, something overheating and shutting down.
