I have a 86 Johnson 90 hp, took the boat into a shop awhile back to have everything tested cause I had problem with starting the boat even with the muffs on. Turned out that carbs weren't adjusted right. After they finished up everything the boat ran great with muffs on fired right up with the first turn. It still runs good with muffs on But I still have problem with the boat starting once I get it into the lake. I know it's not a exhaust leak or spark. The only way I can start the boat out on the lake is if I use the fast idle and let sit in fast idle then I have quickly put into gear or it dies. It's seems like its flooding every time I shut the motor off. If anyone can help me out that would be great thanks.
