'86 mercury 90hp I6 spark plugs, fuel filter?

Took this boat for my maiden voyage yesterday and it ran quite fine for sitting for 3 seasons, however at lowest throttle setting while trolling it would want to stall and lose rpms after a while, it would keep going with a little throttle, just wondering if new spark plugs and a fresh fuel filter might be the answer?

.......if so what are the best plugs and filter i can get for this motor?

You probably have dirty carbs. Get some NGK plugs, likely BUHW, but confirm with plug reference list. Motor has only a fuel screen as part of the fuel pump.

Check plugs after a while, if they are brown/dark brown and performance is OK, live with it.
