87--60hp Evinrude hot horn

Just bought 1987 60hp Evinrude.The hot horn now go's off all the time. Now its to the point were it go's off even when you don't start it, just when you turn key on.Has good water flow. No VRO<br />What else tyes into it? I tryed to unplug heat sensor but did not help.

Sorry but I have to ask: has it had time to cool before you get the alarm when first starting? If not, I'd check the thermostat, esp if you are running in salt water.

Yes I let it cool down. It didn't seem to get hot
