I have a 1987 Baja sunsport with a 88 Evinrude xp 150 on it. i paid 1k for this boat last yr and it had no interier or carpet im cheap so i did it all myself knowing it wouldnt look awesome but im pretty happy with what i have done so far motor ran good when i bought it but last summer i had it out on lake monroe and i had problems starting it, i could always start it but it just took forever, and i need to get my rpm gauge wired so i can find the best prop it has a 23 pitch now and would only go 42 mph at wot with just me on it and i know it can go faster anybody have any suggestions on that. It also needs a good buff and wax if you look close you can see where old sunsport sticker was and its a lot shinnier then the rest of the boat im open to any suggestions on what i can do to make this boat better thanks.
