I have an 87 Evinrude that recently started having problems with the oil level/overheat alarm. About every 10 to 20 minutes it will sound for about 2 minutes. When I initially bought the boat it only sounded when the engine was started and remained on for 5 seconds or so. <br /><br />VRO Oil level was at about 1/4 tank but is now full, and water pump indicator has always looked good. This happens at different speeds, and in all sea conditions - including perfectly flat seas.<br /><br />Any suggestions ??
