87 force 50 only firing on one plug

i have swapped top to bottom everything from the plug, wire, coil, and all i can get is spark on one cylinder all of the suddon. i'm going to upload a few pics of what i found, one of the plate with the serial number, and a closeup of the switch where i found a connection corroded off. can anyone tell me if this is my problem? it looks like the wire is coming from the stator. a few red wires then this is like a junction/jumper of some sort and one post sorroded off.

last time i started this motor it ran flawless. hopefully this is the answer to my problems. it used to fire right up but now it starts kind of hard and runs on one when it gets going.

Look at the very first sticky on this page. It tells you how to replace the rectifier with a real voltage regulator.
