'87 Johnson 70 Model Number?

I bought a boat with a '87 Johnson 70hp. The previous owner had to have the motor reserialized by the Texas PWD. That beins said the model number is also missing. How do you tell the difference between a J70ELCUR and a J70TLCUR? I am in the process of rebuilding this motor so the model number would be handy.

The "E" means electric start. The "T" means Power Tilt and Trim (of course it would also be electric start)
