Looking for some help tuning my 87 merc. I got a good baseline, and all cylinders seem to be firing. It will start right off the bat, idles strong (maybe a little high) when I put it in gear the rpms drop and the engine will slowly bog down and die. Takes about 15 seconds or so. If I do this in a bucket it seems to clear enough water and can keep rpms up and can get to full throttle for a few seconds before it clears all the water in the bucket and I have to shut it down. My guess is fuel mixture when it comes off idle. If it is out of gear the engine will reve without issue. I'm not sure what to test or replace at this point.
