Make sure the front tires are evenly inflated then swap them. I've seen tires, with no visual clue, that caused the problem. They should have evenly inflated the tires when they did the alignment, but you never know. I've seen some pretty schlock alignment jobs as well.
I really doubt that it has anything to do with the steering box. Loose, worn rack and pinions cause slop in the steering, not pulling.
