87 Wellcraft V20; Good Boat?

Looking at an 87 V20 Wellcraft to use on Lake Ontario for family fishing trips. Engine is a V-6 Mercruiser. <br />Is this a quality designed & constructed boat? <br />How is the ride?<br />Thanks for your input!

I have a 79 model, It's ride is smooth and dry, Only issue check the trasom for weakening, I see what your looking at is an I/O. I have outboard version. Very popular boat, good rough water charecteristics for a 20'6" boat.Plenty of storage and a place to get out of elements. If price is right you will not be disapointed.
