88 85hp trottle issue

Thank God for this forum

Ok this is my issue when at full trottle the timing looks to be all the way, but the carbs is not opening and the trottle stop is not at full stop stop it seems like the rod might be slipping im not sure what the right name for this is called. i tried to adjust the cable both all the way out and in still same thing.

You well know at full throttle the the throttle valve (or butterfly) is at horizontal position. Anything less or more you need to adjust the tiebar (to synch both throttle valves and also the throttle linkage in the tower shaft or called link rods.

OK Guys
After pulling hair's trying to figure this out, I pulled the controller out and found that one of the bolts that was holding the trottle arm had broken off replaced the bolt and now i get full trottle.
