So I still have the boat and plan on using it to learn on. I just today bought another boat(this seems to be an addiction😳). It's a 94 aquatron 1800, needs some interior work but overall in much better shape than the Bayliner and is water ready. It's got a 3.0 mercruiser and has the exact interior layout that I wanted. I'm going to use the Bayliner as my learning tool and completely restore the Aquatron starting around November and have it better than new for next season. Best thing is the admiral is happy and I guess that's all that matters lol.

I was having trouble getting them to upload, from my phone they were too big and photobucket wouldnt work. I wound up having to email them to myself to change the size so they would upload. I've spent the last couple of days messing with the newest to me boat. I got it running finally, the PO said the issue was that once it got hot it wouldn't start back up and that someone had looked at it and said it needed a distributor. I knew from the start that that wasn't even a remote possibility. I've worked on enough cars and trucks to know that something about that didn't add up. So I did a little trouble shooting of my own, I found a fuel pump that was bad, and plug wires backwards so I highly doubt he ever even had it running, by the looks of the pump and and a few other odds and ends I've seen it hasn't ran in a while at least IMO, and I found a bad ignition switch. Long story short, I figured out the plug wires because it kept backfiring through carb and wouldn't start and the fuel pump because well... it wasn't getting gas lol. Then I found the ignition switch cause it would start and then just die and the gauges wouldn't even work. I fixed the plug wires Thursday and poured some gas in the carb and it fired right up. I found out today the ignition switch was bad when I put a new pump on and it would start and everything would shut off, I rigged the switch to work and she purred like a kitten. Just finished up putting a new ignition switch in, wiring and installing the bilge pump they had just laying in there, and wiring up the blower that they had installed incorrectly. The bellows appear to be in good shape and I'm honestly a little surprised it ran as smooth as it did. Gonna attempt the first splash sometime this week and see what happens. Then this winter it's getting a compete rebuild so I'll be looking at y'all for some insight when that time comes.

How did you reduce the size? I've been looking everywhere to find out how and so far the only way has been emailing them to myself but it's kind of a pita lol.

GM told me about reducing the size. My cell has a "tool" button in the camera part I never noticed before. Opened it up and set it at 2.0M or 1600 x 1200 pixels. vs. 5.0M. Then em to myself and save in a folder. From there I just upload or copy/paste.
