88 EVINDRUDE 90 HP STALLING

I run Sea Foam thru my motor every year, and about a week after running a tankful with Sea Foam, the motor wouldn't run higher than an idle. I squeezed the bulb while the motor was running and it coughed and sputtered and then has run great ever since. Is this common after running Sea Foam?

Did you mix the stuff with the gas in the tank or spray in the carb throats? I spray it, let the motor sit for an hour or more, then run the heck out the motor (WOT for 10 minutes). It usually smokes a bunch during the run after treatment, but clears up in a few minutes. Never had any problem getting WOT (5700 RPM on my motor).

I have always mixed it with the gas in the tank. I'll try spraying the carbs next weekend.
