One of my twins, the one that runs great, has one blue and one black and I've no problem with it. It's the one with 2 blues that has the problem with only #2 and #4 firing.
Hi its been a long while and finally i been tinkering with the the motor and found out it needed a coil pack so i ordered a used one and now i have spark on all cylinders but still no start looks to have no fuel so i put alittle fuel in the carbs and it started to backfire any advice thanks.
i think your talking about the brown/yellow thats for the aftermarket stator i think im new to the boat world just wanna try to get this together for nex summer before i paint and do the interior i would like to get the motor running first.
It's been a little over a year and no luck getting this boat started last year i bought a new coil pack had spark still no start the winter came left the boat alone today im out there trying to get this thing to fire up now i find no spark on cyl#1 and 4 re grounded swapped cyl#2 to cyl #1 and coil sparked same with the fourth cyl one problem i was running into was no spark at all until i disconnected the wht magneto wires then i was able to get spark at 2&3 anyone have any suggestions to this problem thanks.
