I noticed when I started the motor theres a small hole directly under the lower unit where the lower and upper unit come together rite by the front of the lower unit closest to the transom. there was some oil leaking from there after I shut it off is this normal? And also I'm running a VRO and was womdering is there a way to tell if the mixture is right or is it a fixed mixture.

Sam1
The hole is just a drain hole to drain a water pocket and exhaust oil/gas residue draining down from the inner exhaust housing, normal. No adjustment to the VRO pump, run fresh gas and Evinrude Ram oil in the oil tank for best performance.
Backfire ;)
