88 mariner 25HP coil wiring

I have a 25hp 1988 mariner with no spark in lower (#2) cylinder. Ignition coils check out O.K., have a replacement switch box to try. Now I'm wondering if I have the coil wires crisscrossed. I have a manual that shows different wire colors than what I have on the switch boxes, which are Green/White and Green/Yellow for the coils. Can anyone tell me which goes where?

Hi,

Well just hook them up and leave the plugs out and grounded. Then turn it over slow and see if the top plug sparks when the top piston is at the top of the stroke. If it fires at the bottom of the stroke then swap out the wires.
