Bought this toon a few weeks ago. Drove great up and down the lake when I bought it and the first two times out. Then the third time the constant warning was on from the moment I turned the key. Engine was room temp and I could see some smokey exhaust and the tell tale pumping so I took the boat out.

Disconnected the tan wires on the overheat sensors the next day.

Next trip out the boat ran great a couple miles out. Then on the way back, it started cutting out at WOT. I'd idle down and try again in a minute and it'd drive a half mile then cut out again. Took a few times to get back to the dock.

I bought a fuel pump repair kit after reading some on here. But then took a look at my engine and there's no pump except for the VRO.

My fuel line connection had popped off the gas tank at some point. Maybe is was bleeding some air and that's why the engine struggled at WOT?

Gonna take it out tomorrow. I put a new fuel connection on it. The fuel primer bulb gets rock hard and then gets a little softer after a few minutes while the boat sits. Dunno if that's normal or if it should hold pressure. I don't see any leaks around the VRO hosing.

Little worried about running the boat. Be nice to get some feedback.
