I set the choke when engine was cold so that flap was barely closed. I did notice that choke is hanging up a little bit. I still do not understand why engine would die when putting it in the neutral position. Rebuild kit is on its way. Thanks for your support.
If your idle passages are clogged then there is no fuel going to it. Any hangin up linkage will not help needs to move freely as a closed choke will eventually foul the plugs and kill the engine.

What does your fuel filter look like. Most of these issues are from boats sitting and getting contamination in the fuel system

Acks like it Runs out of gas when you are planning out idles great just when u almost fully playned out lack of gas engine dies
