Re: 89 - 120 HELP

Sounds like a fuel system issue (plugged), or, as rodbolt mentioned, a slug of water.
Do you have a manual?
Sounds like you might need to test the output of the fuel pump and see if you have a prob. there. check the fuel line connector at the engine....make sure there isn't a piece of something stuck in the small openings on the eng. connector.
Careful with the starting fluid...you'll end up with 2-piece heads.... :)

Tony.... It's not a good idea to use starting fluid in a two stroke engine as that fluid has absolutely no lubrication properties. If you're going to spray anything into the carburetor throats, use a pre-mix fuel/oil mixture from a spray bottle.

Its been my experience that water in the fuel is never just water in the fuel. There is always some crud with it. Your carbs probably need overhauled.

Re: 89 - 120 HELP

Just a reminder for checking the fuel system for water. Take the connector off the end off the fuel hose, and pump gas into a clear glass container with the primer bulb. The water will settle to the bottom after a few moments, and is clearly visible. I found a problem like this just recently with a 6 gal. remote tank. Pumped out 2 in. of fluid, 1 in. of it was water. For me! that is rare in a remote tank. Man was lucky he did'nt gas his vehicle at that same station.
