89 5.8L conversion to electronic ignition; anyone done it?

I have an 89 Bayliner with an OMC 5.8. I just received a Sierra Igniter electronic ignition kit. I have a compatable shift assist interrupter on the way.

I there anything I should know about this instalation?

Do I have a "HEI" type coil?

Will there any problem with the tach?

It looks plug and play.
