89 85 hp engine height?

I need to raise my engine up one notch because right now I have a "peacock" tail. What is the safest way to do this? Any advice would be great..... Thanks

When I needed to adjust my engine I used two friends and a floor jack. I also used a 4x4 post that I ran across my gate entrance with a rope for a little security.

Block the trailer tires to prevent rolling.<br />Lower the front of the trailer.<br />Secure motor to overhead support such as the rafter of the garage, or a tree limb.<br />Loosen/remove motor bolts.<br />Raise front of trailer, the back of the trailer and the boat will lower, motor will remain at tied position.<br />Reinstall motor mount bolts.
