89 classic 50, 45hp. no spark because of autoblend not connected?

curious, i did not connect my autoblend unit to my motor. would this cause no spark? mechanic said it didnt matter if u connect it or not, but where do the wires connect to the unit to the motor? if i delete the remote oil blend unit, would i need to bypass the safety switch?

Sorry but no....
but where do the wires connect to the unit to the motor?
Should be a 5ft long harness this 3 prongs that attach at unit and it attachs to the aux purple female bullet connecter and tan connector on engine...
would i need to bypass the safety switch?
No.....
