hey guy! i have a 89 evenrude outboard that has just been rebuilt it runs great ! untill you get ready to load it on the trailor and it dosent have any power and the rps will not clime ! but when you take it off the trailor it runs great ! any ideas thanks

Sorry but I'm a bit thick in the head. Why would you want to mess with a boat that "when you take it off the trailor it runs great !"?

try tilting the motor so it stays somewhat level when it hits the trailer, but im with solittle, most of em (cranky motors)only run good on the trailer on muffs......you got it good! lol

tilting the motor has no effect i just cant get the rpm up
