89 evinrude 60hp tilt and trim

got and 89 evinrude 60 hp engine runs like a champ. tilt and trim havent been hooked up in a while well i took the motor for the tnt and hooked it up to a battery didnt work. so i figured i would repair or replace. i do have a book on the motor but when i look up the part on the iboats part finder it doesnt jive with the motor i have. the motor i have is a three wire and the motor iboats part finder said i needed is two wire. i have looked at the schematics in the clymer book and it looks like cih wiring for my motor. can anyone help and point my in the right direction on this matter. and are the motors an easy rebuild.. thank you

could have been changed over the years. does your setup run two little black boxes like relays or a single solinoid in a box ?

thanks for all the help on this matter the big one reply that i got from everyone. come to find out that a little common sense figured it out. rebuit the electric motor. broke down the pump and cleaned it and wammo worked like a champ
