Please, please, please! Post the progress and pics if possible of this project. My answer to why, is always why not? I like your idea and I like your spunk! It makes us live longer to have such an attitude. Now, about that fishing problem of yours ... We need to talk. LOL!

I have a thread going on the restoration, it's over in Boat Restoration and Building titled "boats on a budget" I started it from day one when I got the boat, those guys are giving me all sorts of ideas, I started this thread because I figured I'd find the information about instrumentation here.

I've been looking for a speedometer but the boat will only go 20 MPH tops, and the lowest reading speedo I can find reads from 5 to 35 and the 20 mph reading is pretty low on the scale, I'd like to find something that has a top speed reading of 25 or 30 at most, but so far, haven't found anything.
