I had the boat out last weekend and it has been running great, this week I installed a fuel gauge and today I got it out to get it ready for this weekend so I went to start it and I got nothing. it doesnt respond to the tilt trim button on the throtle and when I turn the key I get nothing, I do see the voltage gauge move when I turn the key but nothing else. Not sure where to start. Thanks for any help your able to give.

Re: 89 force 125 control box problem

When you wired the fuel gauge, did you mess with the ignition switch? Did you disconnect the kill switch wires or connect them incorrectly? Is the clip in the kill switch? Did you disconnect the battery first? Is it possible that you popped the circuit breaker(s) inside the engine? There will be one or two black plastic boxes with a small push button on the side to reset. One will be below the terminal board and the other (for trim if present) will be on the lower cowling pan.
