The first time my motor died i was running at about 4800 rpm and the motor just shut off. Now when im cruising at about 2000 or so it runs fine as soon as i start to crank it up and plain oout it just stalls out on me. The primer bulb is staying primed. Then it wont start back up. motor will turn but its not firing. then i turn off the power and a couple hours later it will start right up like it never happened. i am still running the vro, also is it correct that the buzzer will sound if the vro isnt pushing enough oil through?? my guess was power pack overheating. i just got it back from the shop there were loose wires under the dash around the ignition switch and they supposedly fixed the problem, so i rewired the the dash because it was a cluster F**K under there. Any help would be awesome.

Also I was working on my motor today changing the impeller when i noticed a little hose disconnected it looked like a little fuel/or vacum line, the reason i noticed is it plugs in next to the shift linkage under the carbs. could this allow a motor to run good around low rpm's and then stall at higher rpm's?????

the hose is a return line for unused gas. power packs heating up, i a good guess. have you check for spark when it quits. have you tried pumping the bulb to restart. if pump work it point to fuel delivery, cloog high speed jets, or weak fuel pump.

I had a similar problem a couple weeks ago. The issue was an air leak in the fuel line.

Last year I had almost the exact same problem with my 120. what I found out was that the fuel connection on the gas tank had a bad bearing in it so whenever I put on the throttle the line clogged up. Check this by removing the fuel connector on the tank, then shake it if you hear a rattle the bearing may be bad... might be worth a shot
