'89 Johnson 175 HP - Preventive Maintenance

Should I be changing the water impeller every year? Every other? How do I know when it's giong bad? What about the water pumps and gas pumps? I have never had any problem with any of them but would like to know.

jkurtz,<br /><br />If you do not know when the last time the water pump impeller was changed-it's due.<br /><br />Otherwise, I just keep an eye on my water pressure guage and look for change.<br /><br />The fuel pump is not a maintenance item. Just the screen under the inlet.
