89 Sea Ray Bowrider starboard back padding upholstery repair

I need to remove the starboard side bow padding that is connected via bolts under the dash and something along the starboard side of the boat. What connection is in place that can be undone to remove the entire padded section?

you can lift it up. there are hooks on the side panels. push up the panel about 2 inches and then inward

Im not sure I follow what you are explaining. In the picture attached you can see that these panels go from the walk through all along the side. The walk through part are unattached under the dash. The push up and inward instructions are hard to follow

There should be hooks behind the side panels. Raise the side panels up from the bottom to release the hooks from holes in the hull.

My '88 SeaRay 18 footer had nuts holding the bow padding to the hull. Pull up the base cushions and stick your hand up, behind the pad to find them.
