Hi, thanks for the replies. I have misplaced my service manual, so sorry for the questions.

I have removed the lower unit and disassembled the pump housing and impeller. The blades were curved, but luckily the impeller and housing were still in one piece.

I purchased the kit with just the wear-plate, impeller, and various gaskets and o-rings. I was planning on using the OMC gasket compound on the plate gasket and the housing gasket, do I need to put anything on the other o-rings?

Also, does anyone know the torque requirements for the pump housing and the lower unit bolts?

Lastly, I noticed the last guy used what looks like clear silicone to seal the upper and lower units where they come together, should I do the same or use something else?

Is a Seadrive a sterndrive or an outboard? I think we may have you in the wrong spot.

NO sillycone between the units.
And you really don't need any sealer on the pump gaskets.
Some grease on the impeller vanes.
Yes it's an outboard.

My kit came with two o-rings. The smaller one I put between the wear plate and the impeller, under the impeller. I am not sure what to do with the large one. The part number is (O-Ring) OMC 310967, 310585, described as [h=3]O-RING, Driveshaft To Crankcase.[/h]
Crowley does not show the small one going where I put it, but they also don't list that part on the diagram.

Does this go near the top of the drive shaft next to the splines? Or somewhere else?

I am wondering why the grommet of impeller housing does not fit tight around the drive shaft and thinking that maybe this o-ring goes there, although I think it would just spin with the drive-shaft.

Another option would be on top of the impeller as there is a recessed area in the impeller next to the spline.

I was trying to follow this video, but I don't see her put a second o-ring on.
