i went to fire. the motor up the other day and had no water flow . After i took off the water outlet tube and the plastic piece on the bottom cowling i saw a yellow blockage the was about 2 to 3 inches long . Had a oily waxy type feel . Cleaned it all out and it worked fine . Went to fire it up the next day , same problem . This time it was just a small yellow glaze blocking the hole . Things i have don to motor lately to give some back ground are changed the carb and reed gaskets , started using the starbrite additive ( i believe thats what its called recommend buy our yami dealer ) and went to Lake Roosevelt in eastern Washington which is where i live . Any ideas or test i could do would be grateful . Also did compression test and noting indicated head gasket

send a sample off and have it tested/analyzed if you want to know what it is

just confirm that your'e flushing the motor with clean fresh water. are you using ear muffs or a tank or lake water? doesn't sound like any of the work you've done would affect the cooling system. is the motor staying cool and peeing ok while your running the motor on the lake?

Whatever it was you can assume it's also in the cooling passages. I'd seriously consider finding a good detergent solution to incorporate with flushing.
