My 1989 force 150 trim cylinder housing is frozen to the lower shaft. The clymer book says "tap" it out". Yeah right. It's frozen solid. I don't see excessive amount of rust. I'm soaking what I do see with penetrating oil. I'm hoping the "snug" part is only where the shaft goes through the stern brackets. Is that correct? Or is the entire cylinder housing likely frozen to the shaft. Any tips on removing the shaft?
