8hp exhaust leak out of flange

Just tested my new to me 94 evinrude 8 hp in a tank and noticed that exhaust is coming out the flange circled in red.

Is this a problem?

Nope, no problem except for the mess it makes and the worry it causes you. So don't worry.

Thanks for the quick response. I won't worry about it then.

It does make a mess, especially when the previous owner had the fuel/oil mix waaay to rich.
