I have a 1976 9.2 Wizard that was supposed to have been made by Chrylser for Western Auto distribution. Is this a re-badged Chrysler where all parts are interchangeable or a completely different motor?

I have a new impeller, fuel pump diaphram and carb kit ready for installation.

Are there any tricks to replacing the impeller?

Does anyone have an Owner's Manual or Service Manual?

Re: 9.2 Wizard how similar to Chrysler?

This is a little puzzleing My generic aftermarket service manual says 76 Wizard is an Eska built motor.I assume the Wizard is a derated version as the 76 Chrysler is a 10 hp and the Eska is a 9.9. Spark plug in Eska is a Champion J13Y/RJ13Y,with a Tecumseh carb. The Chrysler is champion L4J ,with a Tillotson CO carb.If it is an Eska the powerhead is probably clearly marked Tecumseh.
If it is a Chrysler built Wizard parts will be identical except for cosmetic differences.
Let us know what you find.

I made a mistake, it is a Pre-74 Wizard.

Same deal, my generic manual ,which could have errors, goes back to 69 and says for Wizard refer to Eska. The Eska 2 cylinder water cooled 9.5/9.9 production begins in 73.runs to 85.My other manual goes only up to 65 says West Bend for 65 Wizard .West Bend was acquired by Chrysler about that time.So motors between 65 and 72 could be Chrysler.Again Wizard and Chrysler would be the same if Chrysler built.
Would like to know what you find with plugs and carb?

No doubt that's a Chrysler.
