Thanks, repainted hood and all stickers gone. But checking part no.'s it is 67 or later so can figure what i need. But I'm kinda stuck about impeller/cooling. Since this has a thermostat how long should i run it before it opens up? Ran it about 30 seconds and shut it down with no water at all coming out. Has the rubber tube thru the motor case connected to the block and nothing came out.

Should pump out water !! change the impeller ot inspect what is wrong

water normally bypasses the thermostat anyway .. open or not

If you do not know how old the impeller is you need to install a new one.-----This motor does not have an alarm or shut down system.-----It will overheat and run till it is too late !

The 69 model had gold coloured decals.----The 68 models did have a wee square plastic applique if I recall.
