The bottom cylinder on my 9.5 Johnson has no spark. it still runs on one cylinder and top cylinder has a excellent spark. Took the flywheel off and checked the points, gap at .020, coils don't look cracked and everything looks clean. Disconnected the wires to the kill switch with no results. Any further suggestions?

If the coils are original, they have probably failed internally. I'd replace them. I've seen them where they looked 100% on the top but had arced through on the bottom where you cant see em unless they are removed and examined.

Thanks Steve,
I took off the coil to the cylinder with no spark and there it is, a hole where the arc jumped to the plate.
