9.5hp idle problems

Motor will not idle below 1/2 throttle. Have cleaned carborator (all passages open), checked compression (95 PSI, even both cylinders), checked reed valves, checked ignition (starts easy) etc.<br />Will run at lower rpm's if we use the choke to richen the mixture, which suggests that the trouble is still in the carborator. But as noted above all passages in carborator are open.<br />t his is a tough one! I'm stumped! drmr1@juno.com

Check the bleeder hose coming from the top of motor under magneto to the bottom of block it looks like a vaccum hose on a car, replace it and see what it does then adjust the needle 3/4 turn you can use a piece of 3/4 fuel line to replace this... let me know how it works..... gra6961@usa.net<br /><br />Allan

Your float could be stuck in your carb. Replace it and the needle vavle. Set your float to be level when your carb is turned upside down.<br />Is your primer bulb staying hard? If not you have an air leak somewhere.
