Motor had a pee problem as it wouldn't pee, but the motor would start easy and continue to run. After a lot of cursing finally changing the baffle plate under the exhaust cover which was warped seems to have cured the pee problem but now all of a sudden it is hard to start and will only run for a short while before it stalls out. When I had the motor apart for the gaskets and and water pump I also took the carb off and cleaned it. Now like I said it was running good just not peeing, so what has changed now that I've added the new baffle plate and gaskets that is causing the motor to seem to be starving out of fuel?

Did you get your settings exactly like they were when you put the carb back together?

Did you change the carb gaskets. If one of them is leaking it could cause a problem.

Did you check the fuel pump is it getting gas?
Did you check the bulb is it staying hard?
You could also unscrew the bottom of the carb while on the motor and see if there is fuel in the bowl.
