Matt,<br /><br />I was given a Mariner 4hp engine and didn't know the age, so I looked up Mercury online. Mariner is part of Mercury, so just call 920-929-5040 when you get in the queue there is a option (think number 4 ) for Mariner Outboards and then you will get a rep, give them the serial number and model and they can give you the age of the engine. Good luck..worked for me.
