9.9 to 15hp throttle advance cam swap

I am very interested in doing this swap however i have a 2002 9.8hp (two stroke 9.8B) not a 9.9. Will this swap still work?
Also I'm am needing a new prop so asuming I can make this thing a 15hp I'll need a good source for a prop for a 15hp. are there any models out there that do better in weeds then others?

There is no upgrade for the M9.8B; It is already upgraded from the M8B. It has nothing in common with the M9.9. AFAIK, there aren't any "weedless" (electric trolling motor) props for these. Best technique is to reverse briefly when fouled in weeds, to shed the debris.

lol well thanks but i only paid 500 bucks for the motor and 9hp really is enough for me but only paying 40 bucks for 5 more HP sounded like a sweet deal lol
